Our story
Thirteen yearsin the making.
2013
Where it began
Our founder's first journey to the Maldives turns into a calling. She starts designing tailor-made luxury holidays for friends and their families, and sets the rule we still follow today: never recommend a hotel or an experience we have not tried ourselves.
2017
A company is born
Luxury Travel International is founded in Shenzhen. Our founder begins travelling the world to inspect destinations in person, sharing honest hotel reviews and travel guides that soon reach hundreds of thousands of travellers.
2019
Trusted at scale
We become a leading partner on China's largest travel platforms, Mafengwo and Fliggy, with annual sales above RMB 120 million. Our specialist teams now cover island holidays, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa and the polar regions.
2024
A team of 150
We now look after more than 100,000 travellers a year, with a team of 150 travel professionals and over 80 senior travel designers, each with an average of six years' experience. Our travel stories reach more than 1.2 million followers.
2025
Among the best
We join Virtuoso, the global network that only 2% of travel agencies are invited into. We are named one of China's Top 10 luxury travel brands and Top 10 quality outbound travel providers, and an outstanding partner of Maldives tourism.
